Our mission at Cross of Christ is to reach and renew people for God. All of our ministry efforts focus on accomplishing the goals of reaching and renewing people so that they can have an authentic, intimate relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Some of our ministries focus more on Christian outreach, while others focus more on Christian renewal, but all are designed with the common purpose of serving our community as Christ calls us to: "'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’" (Matthew 25:40).
At Cross of Christ, we know that not everyone has had a positive experience going to church. Knowing this, we actively seek to offer genuine community and compassionate understanding to those who are hurting and broken. You won't find any "perfect" Christians here, but you will find people who love Christ and know that it's only through His death and resurrection that we can find hope, restoration, and peace. Whatever background you may come from, if you are looking for a new church home or if you've never been part of a church community before, we encourage you to give us a try. We promise you won't be alone! When you walk in our doors, you'll find a loving family with open arms.
Our Children's Ministry motto comes straight from the lips of Jesus Christ, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these" (Luke 18:16). We are dedicated to helping children and their families grow in a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe children are an essential part of the church body. When we invest in our children, we are investing in the future leaders of the church.
Sunshine Kids Ministry
Sunshine Kids is a ministry specifically for kids with special needs ages Kindergarten and up. The goal of Sunshine Kids is to reach the spiritual needs of those with special needs in a safe, listening, and loving environment. Through Sunshine Kids, parents are also able to feel more comfortable attending the service, knowing their child's specific needs are being met.
"A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity" Proverbs 17:17. Spiritual growth and fellowship with believers is a necessary part of every Christian's life. We seek to help men grow in their relationship with God and reach out to men in the community through a variety of programs.
"Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of a friend springs from their heartfelt advice" Proverbs 27:9. In Women's Ministry, we seek to provide opportunities for Biblical and spiritual learning in a warm, friendly environment. We focus on four areas of involvement for women: prayer, Bible study, service, and fellowship.
Revolution Youth Ministry
At Revolution Youth Group, we believe in providing a safe, fun, and Christ-centered atmosphere for students 6-12th grade (and beyond) to gather, learn, discuss, and search for answers to Bible-based questions and topics while experiencing true Christian friendship and fellowship. Through Wednesday nights, Sunday mornings, and special events, we hope teenagers create lasting friendship and experience deep spiritual growth.
Worship and the Arts
"Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing." Psalm 98:4-5 Worship is a central component of our fellowship together. The worship team is a no-pressure, welcoming environment. Click below to learn more about our worship opportunities!
At Cross of Christ, we believe that God calls us to share the resources with which we have been so richly blessed, including our building space. Click below to learn more about our monthly New Friends dinner, ministries we have partnered with, and planned outreach events as they come up.
A perfect way to help others or allow others to help you! Congregational Care Ministry reaches out to people through physical means, prayer support and hospitality. There are a variety of opportunities for us to help others or for us to allow others to help us.
Christ's final instructions on earth begin with the words, "Therefore, go, and make disciples of all nations." The Great Commission compels us as believers to share the Gospel however and wherever God leads us. As a church, we support several missionary families across the globe, each with unique ministries, including our sister church in Ukraine.
