At different times, we all need some extra help or support. Congregational Care Ministry reaches out to people through physical means, prayer support and hospitality. Below are a variety of opportunities to help others or for you to get the support you need.
To sign up to volunteer or to express a need you have, please contact the church office at 952-469-3113 or
Meals & Housekeeping
When someone in the family is ill or in the hospital, or even celebrating the birth of a new child, we make sure that getting dinner on the table or keeping the house clean is not another thing they need to think about. For volunteers, the time commitment is minimal, but the impact on families is great!
Coordinator: Kate H.
Are you available to drive people to medical appointments or to church on Sunday mornings? Volunteers are greatly appreciated. Time commitment is variable, from once a week to once a month.
24/7 Prayer Chain
If you have an prayer need, please let Cathy know or our office coordinator. They will pass along your request to our prayer warriors.
Sometimes, people really just need someone to check in on them. We try to call everyone in our congregation at least once a year. This may be the only way we learn about a need someone has. The time commitment for this ministry is a few hours one night a month, but it has a critical impact.
Coordinator: Norma Nesheim
We want to make sure that those in our congregation who are in the hospital feel remembered and cared for. If you or a family member is in the hospital, please let us know so we can visit and/or pray for you.
Pregnancy Prayer Partners
If you are going through pregnancy, we would love to celebrate with you and pray for you throughout the process. Call the church office to get set up with a prayer partner to encourage and support you.
Sunday Morning Prayer
If you need prayer following our Sunday morning service, please look for individuals with "Prayer Team" badges in the sanctuary. They would love to pray with you! To volunteer, please contact the church office to get connected with our prayer coordinator.
