Women's Ministry

Spiritual growth is a necessary part of every Christian's life. We seek to provide opportunities to enable biblical and spiritual learning. We focus on four areas of involvement for women: prayer, Bible study, service and fellowship.

Prayer

All women are welcome to join us for an hour as we communicate with the Father each Saturday morning.

Bible Study

Women have the opportunity to become involved with a Bible study. Currently our bible study meets about every other Thursday at the church.

Book Club

Women meet about every six weeks to discuss a book and choose a new one. We meet at Northwestern bookstore in the coffee shop. Click the "events" button below for the next date and book, or check your Sunday bulletin.

Service Projects

Several service projects will be organized each year to help us reach out to others in need. In the past, we have made fleece hats, headbands, mittens, and socks to give to needy children at a local shelter. We are participating with Samaritan's Purse in their shoebox ministry. Currently, a group of women gather to make quilts.

Fellowship

It's important to establish friendships! We'll offer special times of fellowship to help bring women together. They may include women's conferences, craft times, teas, garden parties, prayer breakfasts, game nights, movie nights, wedding or baby showers, plus lots more.
