 Chad has been married to his wife, Carrie, for 15 years and has two children ages 10 and 13. In 2002, he received his calling from God to use his passion for teaching in full-time ministry. He attended and graduated from Bethel Seminary.  Chad is a God-honoring pastor with a deep passion for teaching and sharing God’s word, and a caring heart for shepherding and counseling. He looks forward to having the opportunity to utilize his gifts, experience, and passion to lead and disciple at Cross of Christ Community Church.

Mike Dirks

Mike has been involved with the Music and Worship Ministry at Cross of Christ for over five years. He has a wealth of experience in a variety of musical settings. Mike wants to encourage people to worship God with their heart, soul, mind, and strength, as well as with their musical talents and skills. Mike has a degree in secondary mathematics education from Bethel College and is currently employed by the Lakeville School district, where he has taught math for over 25 years. He and his wife Linda have five children: Matthew, Elizabeth, Andrew, Nathan, and Rachel.

Linda has been a member of Cross of Christ and Grace Fellowship for 15+ years.  She has been a stay-at-home mom for most of that time.  As a former teacher she has developed many office skills and decided to give office work a try.  It is working out well and she enjoys publishing bulletins, newsletters and flyers.  She is married to Michael and they have 5 children ages 8 to 17.  They live here in Lakeville.

My name is Theo Sandberg and I am blessed to be called here to Cross of Christ. Let me introduce myself, I am first and foremost a sinner saved by grace.It is this truth that has ultimately driven me here to the body at Cross of Christ. Let me share with you the experiences that have formed me for this role. I have been working alongside Dawson McAllister since May of 2009. I am the Twin Cities Coordinator of The Hope-line, which is through the Dawson McAllister Association, and am responsible for recruiting and training volunteers on how to share the Hope and Love of Jesus with youth who are in Crisis. This experience has continued to challenge me with addressing the difficult topics that our youth face today. On top of that, I have been attending Bethlehem College and Seminary since August to finish up my bachelors of Theology degree which has helped me grow in my understanding of the word and joy in Christ. These experiences along with Gods leading have been drawing out a heart to reach and shepherd the youth of this generation. It is with great Joy that the Lord has called me here to serve the Youth. I look forward to meeting each one of you, and am excited for what God has in store for the future. To God be all Glory. 
 

Church Board

Cross of Christ has a board which oversees the financial and business affairs of the church and works in cooperation with the senior pastor concerning programming and spiritual matters of the church. The current members of the board are:
