Church Announces

New Pastor

Chad Murphy is currently serving at Friendship Church in Prior Lake and will officially begin his ministry at Cross of Christ on August 18. His first Sunday will be August 24.

He has been married to his wife, Carrie, for 14 years and has two children ages 8 and 11. In 2002, he received his calling from God to use his passion for teaching in full-time ministry. He attended and graduated from Bethel Seminary. Chad is a God-honoring pastor with a deep passion for teaching and sharing God’s word, and a caring heart for shepherding and counseling. He looks forward to having the opportunity to utilize his gifts, experience, and passion to lead and disciple at Cross of Christ Community Church.

Thank you for your interest in Cross of Christ Church! If you don't regularly attend church, we invite you to give us a try. Maybe you've been intimidated about going to church or nervous about what your experience at church might be like. At Cross of Christ, our goal is to provide a welcoming, come as you are environment for people just like you. We strive to make worship relevant, understandable and meaningful for people who desire to grow in their walk of faith. If you've been thinking that it's time to make church a part of your life, or you want to grow spiritually, we would love to have you join us.
